Accessibility is of particular importance to us in order to enable access to art for all. There is barrier-free access to Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz. Visitors with special needs receive reduced admission on presentation of a disabled pass. With a corresponding entry, assisted persons receive free admission. Assistance dogs are allowed.

Double swing doors 236 cm wide, manual, open outwards.
Ramp at 6 % incline, 750 cm long, 320 cm wide.

Enforcement procedure

If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above contact, you can file a complaint with the complaints office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the complaints office’s contact form.
The FFG reviews whether the complaints relate to violations of the Web Accessibility Act, especially deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an associated entity.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG will issue recommendations for action and suggest measures to remedy the identified issues to the relevant federal body or entity.
