The Collapse of the (Western) Model of Reality

People in the overdeveloped West are experiencing nothing less, but also nothing more, than the end of the world: the point when a culture's model for making sense collapses. There are three main sources for this collapse of the system of coordinates that underpinned the Western rise during modernity: geopolitics, climate change and AI. While this process induces vertigo, and worse, triggering all kinds of violent counter reactions, it is also an opening to construct a more fitting model for how to understand, and live in, the damaged worlds for the Anthropocene.
