The lecture explores the transcultural and transmedial histories of so-called Artificial Intelligence as a psycho-imperialist technological constellation. Rather than understanding it as an exclusively human invention, we look at the diverse agencies that have long been at work and try to develop a sensorium that helps us to uncover the stories they tell. Ultimately, we will discuss the current rise of Techno-Fascism and AI-thoritarianism and try to design countercultural techniques to resist and redesign.
