Joaquina Salgado is a Berlin-based media artist from Argentina whose work examines the intersections of technology, philosophy, and more-than-human worlds. With a background in Media Arts at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, she creates interactive installations, animations, and video games shaped by internet culture that probe how perception, agency, and collective experience are constructed through algorithmic systems.

Through motion capture, game engines, and custom interfaces, Salgado develops speculative ecosystems that illuminate hidden entanglements between humans, machines, and living systems. Her practice explores technology as both a tool of control and a medium for intimacy and interconnection, seeking to understand how technology might enable more equitable and interconnected futures.

Recent projects include DERIVA (Pro Helvetia, Zurich), Reserva Digital (Centro Nave, Chile), and avispish (CCK, Buenos Aires). Her solo exhibition Nostalgia is the Extended Feedback opened at SOMA Berlin in December 2025. She has presented work at MUTEK (Buenos Aires/Montreal), Berlin Art Week, and the APAP7 Triennial in Korea.
